Mark Your Calendar for Important Plant Sale Dates

This is the perfect time to start with planting a few extra seeds or splitting up plants you might want to include in the annual plant sale.  *Please list the plant type on individual starts and *Include a photo of the plant at bloom or maturity to enhance the buying opportunities. *We will be passing around a sign up list at upcoming meeting fors volunteers hours and what they have to contribute – time, pick up or delivery, plant knowledge, equipment like wagons.  Saturday, April 5, 1 pm Pot Party at Diane Awalt’s House, 1847 5th Avenue, West Linn Bring any plants you want to donate to the sale and we’ll help you pot them up. If you are donating empty pots, please wash them out first so we don’t spread disease! Bring gloves, hats, sunscreen and hand tools. Potting soil provided. Saturday, May 10 9 am – 1 pm Plant Sale at Hammerle Park, 1505 Lewis Street, West Linn Volunteers are needed: *Coordinate delivery of flyers to local high visibility spots *Bring wheelbarrows/wagons to the plant sale *Bring plants from Diane Awalt’s House to Hammerle Park between 6:30 and 8 am the day of the plant sale (truck, trailer and/or van) *Set up the day of the plant sale (7 – 9 am) *Work the Plant Sale (9 am- 11 am; 11 am- 1 pm) *Clean up after the plant sale (1 pm) Contact Plant Sale Chair Laurel Buncak at 503 422-1547 or at [email protected].
