Welcome to the West Linn Garden Club, one of the oldest garden clubs in Oregon. Founded in 1916, our club brings together gardeners of all levels of experience. As a member, you will learn about specific topics each month and enjoy the camaraderie and expertise of our members. We meet the first Monday of each month at 6:30 pm at the West Linn Lutheran Church, 20390 Willamette Drive, West Linn, OR 97068. When the first Monday falls on a holiday, such as Labor Day, we meet the second Monday of the month,
In addition to our monthly speakers and field trips, members provide hands-on service at two local gems: the historic McLean House and Garden, and the Pollinator Garden at Mary S. Young Park. Our annual plant sale on the Saturday before Mother’s Day provides the community with a wide array of perennial plants, shrubs and vegetables, and is our primary fundraiser.
The club is a member of National Garden Clubs, Pacific Region Garden Clubs, The Oregon State Federation of Garden Clubs and Clackamas District .
We are a 501c3 nonprofit.

History
Our club is one of the oldest clubs in the state, founded in 1916 as the West Linn Rose Society. In 1925, nine people interested in the cultivation of fall flowers formed the West Linn Floral Club and held their first fall floral show in September 1925. Their first rose show was held on May 22, 1926. The Club changed its name to the West Linn Garden Club in 1934 and affiliated with the Oregon State Federation of Garden Clubs in 1936, becoming a member of the Clackamas District.
