Our club is one of the oldest clubs in the state, founded in 1916 as the West Linn Rose Society. In 1925, nine people interested in the cultivation of fall flowers formed the West Linn Floral Club and held their first fall floral show in September 1925. Their first rose show was held on May 22, 1926. The Club changed its name to the West Linn Garden Club in 1934.
There are several opportunities for hands on support of local native and pollinator gardens such as those at the historic McLean Park & House and the expansive Mary S. Young Park, both in West Linn, Oregon.
New members of all ages and all levels of experience are welcome. Membership includes expert presentations at meetings, opportunities for field trips, a regular e-newsletter, membership booklet and emailed copies of publications from National Garden Clubs, Oregon State Federation of Garden Clubs, the Pacific Region of Garden Clubs and the Clackamas District.
